The morning/evening routine to beat bloating for good: anti-bloating plants, a complete programme and what to expect week by week.
Are you considering the 28-day Teatox and wondering what it will actually change in your daily life? You're in the right place. This guide presents the exact ingredients of the two teas, the ritual to follow every day and what a full programme typically looks like week by week. The aim: for you to know what to expect before you start, and to get the most out of your programme.
Before diving into the programme: the 28-day Teatox is not a magic potion. It's a structured ritual, based on plants authorised in Europe, that gently supports a return to digestive comfort, steady energy and a lighter-feeling silhouette. And — this is our signature — every programme comes with a 48-page booklet containing a nutrition programme and an exercise programme created with a sports coach and a herbalist doctor. It's this “tea + nutrition + exercise” trio that makes the difference between a programme that works and one that disappoints.
Very short programmes (3 or 7 days) rarely give lasting results: the body doesn't have time to establish deep drainage, and any effects disappear as soon as you stop. 14-day programmes offer an excellent one-off boost, ideal after the holidays or before an event. The 28-day programme, on the other hand, aims for a deeper transformation: the ritual takes hold, eating habits readjust naturally, and the effects on your stomach, energy and sleep consolidate over time.
The programme consists of two complementary teas, to be drunk at specific times of the day. This “morning + evening” structure is the signature of the protocol. The current formula has been reworked to be 100% compliant with European regulations, using only plants authorised in Europe.
A blend based on oolong tea, combined with peppermint, dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale), lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), nettle (Urtica dioica) and ginger (Zingiber officinale). Oolong provides a gentle wake-up thanks to its natural caffeine, released gradually. Dandelion and nettle support drainage, while mint and ginger energise and help digest breakfast. Directions: steep one bag for 2 to 3 minutes in hot water (90-95 °C / 194-203 °F), one cup every morning, ideally with breakfast.
A blend based on pu-erh tea, combined with senna leaves, cassia seeds, hawthorn, lotus leaves, dried mandarin peel and Pogostemon cablin (patchouli). This evening tea, rounder thanks to the fermented pu-erh, supports the digestion of dinner and elimination overnight. Directions: steep one bag for 2 to 3 minutes in hot water (90-95 °C / 194-203 °F), one cup every evening after dinner.
Good to know
The Evening Tea contains senna, a plant authorised in Europe and used for its effect on transit. The Morning Tea contains none. If your transit is sensitive, start gently with the evening tea (1 bag every other day in the first week). In case of nausea, vomiting or prolonged diarrhoea, stop using it and see a doctor. Not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding or for children under 12.
The 48-page booklet that comes with your programme sets out what we call the three pillars of a successful teatox. None of them is optional: it's their combination that produces the most tangible results.
A cup of Morning Tea every morning to boost energy, support digestion and limit bloating. A cup of Evening Tea every evening after dinner to encourage relaxation, sleep, digestion and elimination.
The booklet includes a fitness programme designed by a qualified sports coach, with three levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and several progression stages. Allow about 15 minutes a day, with two rest days a week. A yoga programme and a stretching sequence complete it, for those who prefer a gentler practice.
The booklet presents four main eating plans recognised for their balance: vegetarian (and its variants), paleo, acid-alkaline and The Zone. Rather than imposing a single diet, you choose the one that suits your tastes and habits. For each plan, the booklet details the rules to follow, sample menus and mistakes to avoid.
When you wake up, start with a large glass of warm water to rehydrate your body after the night. Then prepare your Morning Tea (one bag, 2-3 minutes in water at 90-95 °C). Drink it slowly before or during breakfast. Enjoy the wake-up effect of oolong and ginger to start the day without resorting to an overly strong coffee.
Aim for 1.5 to 2 litres of still or low-mineral water. Hydration is the main driver of the programme: without enough water, draining plants can't do their job. Limit fizzy drinks, industrial fruit juices and alcohol during the 28 days, and favour a simple, mainly plant-based diet.
Prepare the Evening Tea about an hour after dinner, in water at 90-95 °C, steeped for 2 to 3 minutes. Drink it in a calm moment, ideally sitting down. This tea works overnight to support elimination, which is why it's important to respect the timing after the meal to enjoy its full benefits.
Every body is different, but our customers' feedback draws a very consistent thread week after week. Here is what a typical programme looks like.
The first three days are the most unusual: the fresh, minty taste of the Morning Tea (peppermint, lemongrass, ginger) takes a little getting used to, as does the ritual of the Evening Tea an hour after dinner. The first positive signs appear from day 4: faster digestion, a less bloated stomach at the end of the day. Transit may be a little more active in the morning (the effect of the senna in the evening tea), an expected effect that settles within a few days.
This is usually the week of the energy click, driven by the combined effect of oolong, ginger and nettle in the morning. Most users find it easier to get up and keep up with their workouts. The scales don't always move spectacularly at this stage, but your waist starts to feel slimmer: a sign of water retention easing before fat follows.
The programme becomes automatic. Sleep deepens, probably thanks to the soothing effect of the hawthorn and patchouli in the Evening Tea. Your stomach is visibly flatter when you wake up and stays that way even after meals. It's also the time when it becomes natural to add regular moderate physical activity (brisk walking, cycling, yoga) to boost the effects.

Discover the 28-day programmeThe last week consolidates the results. By the end of the programme, most users notice a visibly flatter stomach, a clear improvement in digestive comfort and energy, and better-quality sleep. It's also the right time to identify the habits you picked up during the programme that you want to keep for the long term.
These are the trends most often reported by our customers. They vary from person to person depending on metabolism, diet and physical activity during the programme and are not guaranteed. A programme combined with a mainly plant-based diet and 3 moderate exercise sessions a week generally gives the best results.
This programme is particularly suited to three profiles. People who want to reduce bloating and get a flatter stomach without resorting to harsh supplements. Those who want to restore their energy after a tired period or a time of excess (holidays, summer, back to work). And anyone who loves a plant-based approach to wellbeing and wants to add a gentle detox ritual to their daily life for 4 weeks.
If you're expecting spectacular weight loss in 7 days, the 28-day Teatox isn't the right product. It's a structured, natural and gradual programme, designed for lasting results rather than a flash effect.
Customer feedback consistently points to a visibly flatter stomach, a clear improvement in digestive comfort and energy levels, and better sleep. Effects on the silhouette are more marked when the programme is combined with a balanced diet and regular physical activity. Results vary from person to person.
The ingredients are 100% natural and the formula complies with European regulations. The Evening Tea contains senna, which can speed up transit in sensitive people. This effect settles within a few days and can be reduced by starting with one cup every other day in the first week. Stop using it and see a doctor in case of nausea, vomiting or prolonged diarrhoea.
Yes, in moderation. The oolong-based Morning Tea already contains natural caffeine; an extra coffee is fine, but avoid following it with another caffeinated tea in the morning so as not to overload your nervous system.
The 14-day programme is ideal for a one-off boost (back to work, after the holidays, preparing for an event). The 28-day programme establishes a deeper rebalancing, with more stable results on your stomach, energy and sleep. For a first experience with a slimming goal, the 28-day programme offers better value for results.
The booklet is 48 pages long and covers the three pillars of a successful teatox. Nutrition: a detailed presentation of 4 eating plans (vegetarian and its variants, paleo, acid-alkaline, The Zone), with rules to follow, sample menus, mistakes to avoid and general dietary advice. Exercise: a 3-level fitness programme (beginner, intermediate, advanced) with several progression stages, a yoga programme (short or long) and a stretching sequence. Allow 15 minutes a day, with two rest days a week.
No. The programme is designed for 28 days, after which it is recommended to take a break of at least 4 to 6 weeks before starting another programme. In between, you can drink the Morning Tea (senna-free) more freely, but the Evening Tea should stay within structured programmes.
A word from the founder
“I created Happy Detox Tea in 2015, after spending five years importing and distributing fine-origin Chinese teas (green, white, black, oolong, pu-erh) from artisanal gardens that follow organic farming criteria and are certified to European standards.
Convinced of the benefits of tea for the body, I wanted to go further, with the help of a herbalist doctor, and offer teatoxes that aren't miracle products but real structured programmes over 2, 4 or 8 weeks. That's why every order comes with a nutrition and exercise booklet: because tea alone isn't enough, and being transparent about that is our signature.
I wish you a wonderful teatox.”
— Amaury, founder of Happy Detox Tea
